A real passion of mine is shooting live music, and I had my first opportunity to take my E-M5 to a gig last night. These were all shot with the 45mm using the pinhole art filter...

Took this lens for a spin at a nearby park yesterday. Here are a couple of examples from shooting wide open. This is shallowness that I had been looking for... I'm in love.

Objects in focus absolutely pop. Portraits of my wife and daughter (not posted here) are absolutely stunning. My PanaLeica 25mm just might end up collecting a little dust after all (I thought I'd NEVER say that...)

Thanks! I was watching "The language of light" by Joe McNally and saw the part where he changes a profile lighting setup just by moving it couple of feet, and I wanted to give it a shot on an interesting model. A friend's friend agreed, so I managed to get this. We were shooting at his home and there was no way I was able to control the light fall on the background, should have used a black bg. Here's the video from his blog where he explains this technique:

Thanked by RoseCanyon.
