After a while with this lens (m.zuiko) this is the shot of mine that most exemplifies what the lens can do - shot from the ground and not right next to the (fully grown) giraffe:

I've only had my kit less than two weeks and have spent most of the time trying with the 14-42mm lens. Still trying to find my feet with the tiny format, but liking it more each time. I think getting a viewfinder will make me more comfortable, but until then, some snapshots for you.......
f/4.6, 1/125s, ISO200, @70mm
f/5, 1/25s, ISO200, @89mm
I also like to experiment. Give the camera a slight twist during exposure.
f/5, 1/15s, ISO200, @105mm
I do a lot of SPs too. I think I've worn out my welcome with my partner and her kids.
f/9, 1/160s, ISO200, @70mm
^^ Yes, the Tee shirt reads "Highly Evolved"

Took it to the zoo yesterday. I shoot it at a constant f5.6. I am satisfied with performance at 150mm, and extremely happy with it at between 70 and 100mm. I think this lens can make a great addition for these wider focal lengths to something like the Panny 100-300mm, although I won't buy the 100-300 because what I need more than sharpness is speed and DoF, and the 300mm is just too slow.
My old telephoto was the 4/3rds Olympus 70-300mm, and that lens needed to be shot at a constant f8. This one is quite a big step up in terms of focus speed, size, focus and even aperture, considering I can get good results with it at f5.6.
I created a lightroom develop setting for this lens. NR, sharpening, bit more contrast, bit more saturation.
@74mm, full image(width)
@100mm, ISO 1000, full image (width)
@150mm, 100% crop
I took that last picture from a fairly considerable distance. I'm pretty happy with it all things considered.
