These are really sharp photos here. I think I'm gonna make the jump and order it from cametacamera. They are selling refurbished for 150 bucks. Is this a good deal?

Default Wasn't sure at first....

...whether this lens would capture the leaping Newf....but it did fine

Barney to the rescue!

Barney retrieving the oar...

Murphy bringing in the boat

Had a great time watching friends training their Newfs for the fall water rescue tests!

I just got this lens, and am using it on a Panasonic GX1 with no problems so far. Outside in good light the shots are super sharp. They're also better than I expected inside. At the price ($150 refurbished from Cameta) I couldn't be happier.

A note on the Cameta deal, mine arrived in three days. It didn't come with a Olympus box, bag or hood but it looks brand new.

Default Plastic mount

Since this lens has a plastic mount I wonder how durable it can be?
Has anybody of Oly 40-150mm owners had a problem with the mount?
Can it become loose with a time?
One owner mentioned in his comments in Photographyblog review that his copy's mount was broken "in a very gentle fall".
Metal mount seems to be much more reliable for me.

Nope. It's solid.
