Thanks, Terry. This and the 14mm 2.5 are the two I consider "indispensable" (and great bargains!).

Some shots taken during a family weekend at Laguna Beach. Impressed with the 40-150; inexpensive, reasonably fast focus, and quite sharp, even at maximum reach.

All these shot at 150 mm, using an EPL2

I find it really quite sharp and a great lens for candids. Size wise and at 140mm or just under feels kind of familiar in my hands - like the old 135mm lenses on film cameras which worked well for just this purpose - getting in close without being in someone's face...


Hit focus on far eye here... does not really seem to compromise the shot much...



Focus on near eye...
