Just got this lens today, I think it has potential. Even just after sunset the focus was really fast. rather impressive. does require good light for best shots, but here is a quick sample anyway!

I am assuming this is the M.zuiko. I just got this lens also last week. It is amazing how quickly and quietly it responds. Hopefully I'll get some nice pictures soon to post here.

by the way guys, i got this off ebay from run4border and it was a great price and probably the best seller i've ever dealt with.

this lens has thoroughly impressed me, and in well lit conditions it really excels.

During the recent East Coast Blizzard.

The aftermath at my local park in the town. The following pictures were taken on cloudy day right before sunset. As you can tell I have used art filters in few of the pictures.

Enjoy!!! Suggestions or comments are welcome.

great shots! love the high contrast shots in the snow and the faded glow of those eerily-warm street lamps

Default worked well for me on a G1

I found mine to match the 45-200 for IQ, as long as light is bright enough that lack of IS won't hurt me..

85mm, 1/160, f/8

got away with this one: 123mm 1/30s

and a bokeh-torture test: 100mm f/5

First walk around shots with my m.Zuiko 40-150 on an EPL1.
These are by way of example rather than art attempts.
Most are not as sharp as could be, but they reflect real walk around results for someone like me.

All at f5.6, camera self selected ISO 200
JPEGS straight out of the camera, no adjustment except to reduce file size to 2mb.
All hand held.
(click for big if that's not obvious)

The first four are two sets of 40mm and 150mm comparisons, I think the building pair shows off the potential of 150 compared to the kit lens length quite nicely:

Hey everyone, it is my first post. I am new to this. Just wanted to say that I really like this lens, really good with a lot of lighting. I took it out for a baseball game, love it!
