Default Not sure how I did this
Taken with EPL1 and 14-42 kit lens. Speed at 1/6 at f18. Lens was at 14mm. Think I snapped quickly while lens was focusing but can't prove it because I can't reproduce it.

Its actually an interesting effect and if I can figure out how to reproduce it I have some ideas for other photos. But then maybe my camera had a brain fart that caused it.

Looks like you rotated the camera on the lens axis with the slower shutter speed. I've done that purposely in the past to experiment. Can be a fun effect at times.

I thought about that but there are elements in the photo that show no rotation like the tree limbs on the left and right and the leaves in the center. When I tried rotating everything showed movement.

Perhaps it is an image stabilizer glitch? Does that lens have an optical stabilizer?

It's the 14-42 oly kit lens so the stabilization is only in the camera body.

I think that this happened when I was done with my prior photo and was in the process of reslinging my camera when I hit the shoot button. I'm going to try some more tests tomorrow playing with camera lens rotation and AF.

you can do this by taking a shot with a bit of slow shutter speed and then rotate the camera. i usually do this when im on a lying on a hammock and taking a picture of my feet while the hammock is swinging. try it and see how it works
