Default Very interesting and deep RX100 review from Ming Thein

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 – a somewhat comparative review
Thanked by arch stanton.

Why'd he tape over the Sony name on the camera?

Got it.

His number one complaint was the in camera charging. There's a simple solution to that. Buy a universal charger. They only cost about $1.50-$2.

Really? I've never seen one that cheap. Mine cost me nearly $50.

But that aside I do see the point that he reviews what he gets. No charger and no manual is a pain. And I don't think most consumers would even think to look for an external charger.

He's one of my favourite reviewers as well.

Here's one for a $1. These things are the only thing I use when I travel. Why carry around 4 or 5 proprietary chargers when I can just carry one that works for all the batteries I have? You can also find them anywhere on the planet for under $2 in markets. I've had one or two break on me while travelling and thus needed replacement.

Hahah Hi Gordon ..
I think you forgot they we live in OZ. If Panny 7-14 mm can still sell for AUD 1900 at Teds then anything is possible.
Cheers
