I haven't tried a Sony experience but based on what I know, the interface is not that "good" compared to the other brands? - though it is really relative to the user. The one thing that I liked the Panasonic is the menu is very intuitive and it offers a lot of direct button access (take for example from the GF1 and GX1), what do you think of Sony's?
The interface on my Sonys to me, is better then my E-pl1 and OMD Em-5.

The only cameras I've ever seen Steve Huff NOT gush over are the Fuji X cameras, which he can't seem to focus with. They're pretty much my favorite cameras along with the OMD. I don't have any focus issues with them. I'm in no danger of buying the RX1, despite its strengths. Too many details I don't like, including the Sony interface which I got used to on an old Nex but couldn't stand on the RX100. Just personal preference but a pretty strong one. I'm glad it's out there though - it'll trickle down and out to different companies. I love how much better the Oly m43 bodies got partially in response to the Nex system.

I'm a tad relieved I didn't buy it. Weeeeeeee $2800 in my pocket! Lol

Mebbe themx100s!:D
Ray are you excited bout it at all?
I like the faster focus, def, and the split focus seems FUN
I'm just worried about the raw files and apple aperture. Tho, I think I've shot 5 shots total in raw on mymx100. S Mebbe I should stop worrying, lol

Littlmt, I saw yer post a weekish ago elsewhere, titled, car someone... I totally thought "I wonder if these will be as good as littlemt" and then saw them and thought "wow! These are SO her style! I was gonna link you to them, scrolled up, oops... "It IS littlemt!!! WHEND SHE GET AN RX1?!?! ". Lol :D

I'd be excited about the X100s, except that I sold my X100 once I got the X-Pro, so I'm more interested in what it means for future iterations of the X-Pro. But frankly, I like the X-Pro so much as is, I don't really care if they do much to it going forward. I guess a little faster focus would be slightly nice for some of the lenses, but with the 18mm I mostly use, its already plenty quick and when I need it faster, I'm zone focussing anyway. I stick to jpegs with the Fuji cameras - I did even with the X100. Plenty of latitude for additional processing and their jpegs are so damn good I just never felt like I could improve on them shooting raw. I shoot raw with everything BUT Fuji, but not with any of their cameras...
