Personal opinion, but Aperture work flow is great! Fast and really great for organizing large libraries.

One customer service person had told me that it wouldn't cost me. That was when I first bought the LR 3 upgrade whenever it was first released. Then I went months and months before finally pulling the trigger on the MBA.

Well I didn't want to wait any longer so I used my Best Buy CC to buy the 11" i5, 128GB model. I figured this would be okay until January or February when I get the iMac I want.

I'm going to download the trial versions of Lightroom and Aperture and test them out soon when I have more time.
Thanked by Armanius.

Congrats Jordan! That's the same one I got. Loving it so far.

Thanks. I'm liking it so far. SSD make it snappier. I've got all the updates done for it, so I will be playing around more with it tomorrow after I make a trip to your city to drop my dad off at IAH, and stop off at a mall. My iTunes and iPhoto libraries were already moved to my 1TB external drive so I don't need to move anything to this expect some software and documents, which will take no time.
Thanked by Armanius.

I strongly recommend that you review screen rez before you purchase ... for some people it will make a difference.
Not quite correct. Assuming you're talking about a 13" Pro, the res on both the 11" and 13" Air is actually better.

ipad 1024x768
13" Pro 1280x800
11" Air 1366x768
13" Air 1440x900

I only know cos I've been tossing up whether to get the 13" Pro or Air lately. Air is very very tempting but the small HDD might be the deal breaker. Was very surprised to learn that the 13" screens differ between the two.
Thanked by Armanius.

I am talking about the 15" MacPro with a hi-res of 1680 x 1050. The standard res is 1440 x 900. While the numbers you quoted don't seem significant, one can visibile see a difference between these resolutions.

I have found that the better the screen res the better the post processing.

Comparison is here:
