Thanks all. It doesn't have to be anything fancy.

Here's a silent video example of my adding a lens to the database and then posting a brief review of it:

One of the reasons that I thought of a lens database was to be able to give people a very quick summary of how a particular MF lens performed on m4/3s. It wasn't intended to be a full review, which can be done as an adjunct, but a way of giving a people an idea of whether a particular lens is worth considering, without wading through lots of reviews.

I'm thinking about replacing the current photos of the individual lenses and showing them attached to the Pen, so that some perspective of size comes into it as well. What I listed in the columns was pretty much a grab bag of elements, but some people are interested in not just the optical properties of a lens, but also the mechanical ones.

Some lenses may never even feature in anyone's potential list, as they may be one of a kind, but it's there in any case. You can plow through Google and try to find info, but we seem to have so many lenses, of the most obscure design, owned by so many members that I'm sure that you could compile a database like nothing available elsewhere.

Cheers

Ray

Hi !

I have been uploading most of my lenscollection today, most have thumbnails added already, and some have a note with some personal opinions.
I would not call my writings 'reviews' however, since they are just the reflection of what I think I remember most about them.

I will be adding more opinions in the next days, and more lenses as they arrive

Oh, Amin, I put my Nikon Series E 75-150m in the wrong categorie (standard zoom instead of telezoom) Can you change that ?

C U soon,
Rafael
