Brilliant idea squeegee... but as I suspected, not easily doable in the current framework.
Cheers

Hi !
I have two questions for the mods !
1. How can I delete an pic that I uploaded to the gallery ?
2. When you use white borders for your image, it's very hard cq impossible to see where the image starts, and where the background ends.
Here's an example of what I mean :
Camelias in the garden
Isn't it possible to set the background to some neutral grey ?

Deleting a photo from the gallery
If you go into the photo in your gallery you will see a drop down menu called "Photo Options" up on the right hand corner where you can choose Edit and then check off the appropriate box within the Edit window. Remember if you've posted the same photograph in different galleries or albums, you will need to remove it from there as well - if you want to remove the image from those places as well.
On my screen, the background is a very nice light blue and I have absolutely no problems seeing the white borders on your photos. I wonder if you can adjust your view of the website... I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will comment soon.

It is possible, but neutral gray makes it tough to choose a readable font color for the forums. The Leica User forum uses a neutral gray, and I don't think that is the most readable choice ( sample)
GetDPI went the route of dark gray with a light font, which is a good choice I think. Possibly inspired by Fred Miranda ( sample).
Personally, though, I like the bright, upbeat feeling of a light background. It's a tradeoff between what is optimal for discussion and what is optimal for images.
In time, I will add a dark theme, and everyone will have their own choice of which theme to use.

Thanks, but the Edit function does not appear when I open the Photo Options with a photo selected

I'm still working out the kinks but it's open to beta testers . To switch styles, use the menu in the far lower left corner of the page and select "Dark Style".

Yes, I'm sure
I have the following options under "photo options" :
user options (not clickable) / Add to favorites / Post comment / Report photo / Receive email updates / Print view / show exif info
Nothing else. Maybe you have more, because you are moderators ?
