Aha, I had missed this thread when I registered yesterday! Just found it thanks to Amin's post on the "What can we do to make this site better..." thread.

As I posted on the how did I find this site thread, it was through The Online Photographer...which I'd been reading in my search for understanding the new Olympus E-P cameras. Way back when, I was photography major in college - strictly an OM-1 user who specialized in color printing which I loved. Time, the stuff of life came along and my OM-1 has languished along with its lenses in my old photo bag...

Having read about these new cameras I've found my old obsession rearing its head again and now that I'm in a different stage of my life, I'm seriously considering rejoining the photography world with a more adjustable digital camera than the handy p & s I have...thus, I've been pouring over the threads on this very nice site. I count myself very fortunate to have found it, too.

Just a note to show my ignorance of Greek and its relation to this website. Although I actually took ancient Greek for one day in my senior year of high school, and used to know the Greek alphabet...I only recently figured out that the sign was the actual sign for the Greek letter mu http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Micro- Very witty name for this very nice site, Amin.

I'm another who initially missed this thread, so having now found it, will acknowledge same.
Seems a site to cater for most mu-43 aficionados, with plenty to interest and enjoy.
Thanks to those responsible for their time, and indulgence.

This is, without doubt the best m4/3rds community forum on the net... Amin is doing a fantastic job, responding to suggestions from mu-43 members to tweak the forum format to our needs, and that shows.

Above all, the quality of discussions, friendliness and eagerness to help each other combine to make this a genuine community home.

I'm really excited about the next few weeks and months, as our many friends from around the net gravitate to this oasis of positivity... tell your friends the m4/3rds party is here!

Cheers

Brian

Hi! I'm not only very new, I'm also totally clueless, as you will very soon see me reveal in the separate "reveal hidden, pointless statistics" thread, which I have just discovered to my delight/cost. Thank you for providing this forum.

Welcome to mu-43, hohoho. I'm not so sure that you're "totally clueless" at all and glad you found your way here.

Hello all, I am Wes Norman and received my EP-1 from a friend so am happy to see a forum dedicated to this great little camera. I hope to learn a lot from evenone. The site sounds like a great one.
