Thanks for this site.
My last experience with photography was in the 70's and 80's with film SLR's.
After a lot of research, I decided to get the E PL1.
I have had it about 3 weeks and am having a lot of fun using and learning about this camera.
I have the 14-42 kit lens and also purchased th 40-150mm lens. A Panny 20mm is on the FedX truck, due to arrive this Wednesday, so I guess you can say I'm hooked.
I appreciate all the information here, and hope after awhile, have some things to contribute as well.
Dave

Dave, welcome to the board and congratulations on your move to the E-PL1 and your growing compliment of lenses!

I have no doubt that you already have contributions to make, so please make yourself at home. We have an E-PL1 Image thread, if you'd like to start there.

Looking forward to your involvement here at mu-43.com, Dave.

Hello everyone. I got an EPL-1 a month ago and love it. I wanted a small camera to take with me everywhere as my DSLR is too heavy to drag around all the time. I didn't expect it to have such good image quality, or to be so much fun!
I look forward to learning here, and I much appreciate your rules against rudeness and discussion of politics and religion.

Welcome Janis It seems to me, the best thing about our rules is that we rarely have to enforce them... we're attracting nice people who invite and bring more nice people - and there you go - a warm and friendly community.

Cheers

Brian

Howdy from Texas!

I came here through stumbling upon that long thread of yours showcasing what people put in front of their m4/3rd cameras

I am a veteran 4/3rd user starting back with my old aging E300 (still ticking, btw). And my E-P2 so far has been just a dream come true.

Looking forward to enjoy my stay here.
Y'all seem to be nice and intelligent bunch
