I've been looking at these two bags... they are beautiful, but not sure which is best.

1038 Canvas Shoulder Bag or BBK-2 Canvas DSLR Camera Bag

The first one has no "inserts", but they do sell inserts separately, and for my needs, I have my camera in it's panny case anyway. The second one is slightly smaller, but comes with a removable insert, which might come in useful one day if I get more lenses.

If anyone's interested, the seller has larger camera bags, and camera rucksacks too, which again, are pretty. Then again, I love canvas... :P

@Ritualnet: I was also looking at those two bags. The seem a little large to me though. This one has a similar look and has inserts.

Yep. I get "analysis paralysis" when I carry a bunch of crap. Analyzing the scene, trying to decide what lens, what angle, what filter, should I use the tripod, is it really worth setting up all that stuff for this image.

Frequently by the time I have decided, the opportunity has passed, unless it is a static subject, in which case the light will have changed to be not to my liking. ;-)

If I just have the GX1 body with a charged battery and an empty 16GB card with the 20 mounted, I can just whip it out (pardon the expression) and shoot.
Thanked by twokatmew.

What are you going to carry in yours? I'm a tad worried that I'm going to end up with a bag too small to function. In mine I'd like, the GF1+20mm (in a panny leather case), a 7" android tablet, a book, and maybe small gubbinz in the pockets (keys, phone, etc).

I recently got this bag and I am very pleased with it. My only concern with it is that it is a little deep.
It does well at not looking like a camera bag and drawing attention to oneself.

E-M5 and a couple of lenses (12-50, 70-150, maybe 12-60), and the normal odds and ends. Perhaps a tablet, or book. I think even the smaller bbk2 should handle most of that, ex-12-60.

That is my problem with most of the bags available on the market, they are usually too deep for smaller cameras like the m43. The ones that were designed specifically for CSC's are too small and only allows the camera with mounted lens and an additional extra lens/flash.

@Ritualnet: Also came across this one, which is a little larger, and might fit a book, etc.
Thanked by Ritualnet.
