Do you mean the full case which is all one piece? Over here in the USA, that's all they offer which is quite annoying...

Hi Chow, I have that case - the screw used to fix the case makes it impossible to stand flat as shown in your illustration... but it will fit the camera with 20mm f1.7 fitted.

The soft leather strap is brilliant though.

Cheers

Brian

Not to continue to but I don't think they sell that over here in the states. Guess, I'll keep mine "naked" for now.

That's odd. I thought this was sold globally.. Now you're stuck with non fitting ebay leather

No, no - I shall return to sender!

As for that one you're getting I don't believe I've seen it for sale over here yet.

Was just kidding you.. You might check with the bigger US stores. Although I just checked the US Olympus website and they only mention the strap. Not the case.. Seems rather odd to me to be honest..
The partnumbers for the brown stuff is:
CS-10B for the case
CSS-S109 LL for the strap

I figured you were kidding. Yes, it is odd isn't it about it not being listed on the US Olympus site.

I find it interesting that this company that makes the beautiful handmade cases is also selling those same Olympus products you are getting Chow Monkey: http://www.japanexposures.com/shop/p...roducts_id=315 They're acting as the middle man.

I know! I was wondering how their prices compared. Also it seems to me that there are little metal feet on the bottom of the body case, so perhaps it will be able to rest on them and the screw mount won't get in the way.

I think it's rather expensive for a fashion item. The case is around 60 euro as is the strap. So 120 euro total for the set.
Imagine the leather E-P1 bag I bought was only 35 euro. So these prices are just made up by someone in the Olympus office..
