Thanks Giullio,
Nice review, hopefully this will answer many questions for those who are new to the Olympus flash system. Good job.

I wonder why the LED flashes when in remote mode? To remind you that it's on? I would think this could get annoying.

If you're actually using the flash, then it would not be annoying. It is not a steady or rapid flash, just a confirmation that you're in the RC mode. Imagine being all set up and ready to shoot, only to find out you forgot to set the flash to RC mode. That would merit complaints about not having a confirmation light.

I wish Panny would adopt the same RC flash system as Oly... I never knew you could independently control three flash groups from the camera body on the EM5. Bah.

Finally got my flash... Love it. The size is so great...but haven't had the time to test it out fully.

Quick question to anyone that has it... does the LED light flicker every 8-9 secs? Not sure that would be great for video :/ (Just hope I don't have a dud)

Default Does FL600R LED light work automatically for stills?

The manual isn't quite clear on this - I can get the led to turn on steadily when I set the led light in "M" mode, but in "A" mode it does not turn on to assist focus.

They have.
GH3 uses the same control system and it's fully compatible with the Oly flash. Panasonic's FL360 was at the show in NYC and I got to play with it. Take a close look - interesting!
