To answer my own questions, here is the respond I got from Billingham:
------------------------------------------------------------
The sage bag would have been made from Fibrenyte 1, and we have recently changed to Fibrenyte 2 which is little softer than Fibrenyte 1, and the black Hadley will be from F'2.

Thumbs up Millican - nice bag!

I've got a variety of Think Tank for travel, been using a Domke J803 for daily use, but was interested in an earlier mention of Millican, Messenger bags, Canvas bags & Shoulder bags from Millican Ordered the Mark Field Bag from them, great service, prompt shipping, etc.
If you like heavily padded, boxy bags this is NOT for you. If you like the Domke style F803 etc. this takes it to a nicer level. The canvas is to my eye more tightly woven and softer, less abrasive. The interior cotton lining is very soft and smooth. The Mark is slightly larger than the Domke 803's, but feels lighter in weight. No dividers provided, leaving it up to you to configure as you wish. I put an insert from a Think Tank Chimp Cage in. Holds an EM-5 with Panny 20 attached. Next to that is the Oly 12 & 45 stacked. One one side of the insert is a Panny 45-200 w/hood attached, on the other side the Oly kit lens. An iPad easily fits in the rear inside pocket, my Rogue Flashbender and WhiBal card in the inside front zippered compartment. The elasticized interior pockets hold cables, etc. In one front pleated pocket are batteries, card holder & filters, the other holds the EM-5 flash and FL-600R. Could probably even fit a backup EPL-2 or Mini in one of them, too. Plenty of room left for a charger, mic or Gorillapod in the second elasticized pocket, and I'm not even using the exterior rear compartment yet. Plain simple canvas strap with no padding, but I really don't need anything else even when fully loaded. Quality and craftsmanship is top notch, I LIKE this bag!

I picked up Chrome's Niko bag (their first camera bag) about two months back and have been very happy with it thus far. The dividers that came with it aren't that great and I end up using a crumpler haven (which I already had) to stash my camera and two additional lenses. The Niko makes a great little day pack as the main compartment is big enough to hold all of my gear and I can pack snacks (i.e sandwhich, energy bar, etc.) in the top compartment. There are two sets of velcro tie downs on the side (I'm assuming those are for a tripod) which I use to secure my water bottle.

I went with the Niko b/c Chrome is a CA / SF based company and I like to support local companies. Also living in SF, Chrome messenger bags are widely used so no one thinks twice when they see the infamous seat belt buckle accross your chest,

one of the big draws to micro 4/3 for me was the intention of having a compact and quick camera with good quality, not having to lug around extra gear. i ended up using some old lowepro padding to make a compartment for my camera in a corner of my classic jansport backpack, which tends to look cheap and undesirable to grubby thieves.

Any recommendations for a small bag? Looking to carry an E-M5 w/14-150 mounted (which is something like 5" x 4.5 x 3.5) + one additional lens. Camera can be stored lens down or on edge.

The Tamrac 3440 looks like would work, but I'm hoping for some other recs, keeping the bag as small as possible, and < $100.

from Amazon:

Thanks!

I'm loving my Domke 5xb. Would be the size you are looking for. It comes with 2 dividers. I removed one, and split each side (I carry 2 EPM1s with one lens on each, but it's still small).
Thanked by demiro.

Thanks, but I think I want to go way smaller than the F-5XB. It has approx double the internal volume of the Tamrac I listed, which may be borderline too small, but I want to be in that ballpark.

You might be right. The cameras in that bag are Nikon 1 series. Pretty small cameras and lens.

I have the 5xb, and while it fits my EM-5, kit lens, and 45mm with room for a couple more primes or another zoom.... I feel like the bag is way too small aesthetically. And since I only want to carry around 1 bag generally, it's way too small to carry an extra shirt or other useful things.

Don't get me wrong, I like the bag but I end up putting the whole thing in my backpack and then carrying that around when I'm out in the city or whatever.

also, it looks like a purse... And since I'm a big guy, it's a little awkward to carry around.

When my ship rolls in, I'm gonna go for a bigger messenger style camera bag.
