What worries me more is that I e-mailed Luigi a few days ago... still no reply. I'd like to see his case for the Oly Pen.

Cheers

Brian

I'm in the same boat Brian. I know he was away until January 25th as I had mailed him prior to that and got a reply from his daughter saying to re-contact him after that. I mailed last Thursday and haven't yet heard from him so I expect he's working through his backload.

I like it too.

I've had one for a good while and it's low-key, spacious enough and tough as old boots.
Unfortunately, it's still the same problem, in that every case so far is designed for regular SLR sized cameras and lenses. No one has yet cottoned on to the fact that there is a whole new class of camera emerging that needs a different style of case.

Ray,
I hear you. Yes this is made for a small SLR size kit BUT at 22x16x16 (cm) this one is fairly small. In mine I have my GF1 with the 1.7 20mm and the 14-45mm plus some odds and ends and the fit is good.

Here's one that might be of interest. It's a small Billingham Hadley shoulder bag http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...specifications They make an even smaller one that's a "digital Hadley"..but this size might be good...if you like that kind thing and it comes in other colors. This particular version shows "other images" so you can see what's inside.

With every camera bag I've looked at so far, they need to transpose the width and height so that it becomes better suited to the m4/3s format. Perhaps with more players coming into this space, someone will realise that the traditional bags need revision. I'm going to do some further searching of video camera bags, as these seem to be closer to the specs I'm looking for, though the few I've seen, make no allowance for multiple lenses.

Cheers

Hmmm. In our village there's a very good local cobbler / leatherworker. He does custom work so I may just have a go at trying to create a design and have him make it. Could be fun.

Such people are few and far between in Oz. If I could easily find one, zero found so far, I'd make a cardboard mockup of what I'm after and get them to make a case based on that design. I'm thinking maybe when my wife goes to Bali later on in the year, that I may have to do just that and see if one of the local craftsmen can make one up for me, it'd be a lot cheaper than anything I could get here.

Ceers

Made to your specs is a great plan. For me I can't go the leather route as much as I love the way it looks and feels. I need lightweight while still strong. I've placed and order for a bag I posted about earlier in the thread and when it comes if I think it's good I'll post about it. While not made to order there are many add ons that can be had... I controlled myself. We shall see. At least it's not from eBay! (my little joke at my own recent expense)
