A couple of photos from last summer. Summer just left our country and we're now under the rainy/stormy season.

Both with E-P1 M.Zuiko 17mm F2.8

Just have to say, Joe that that your canoe shot is really nice. I love the old time Polaroid quality and the angle you shot it from makes me feel that I'm lying down out there in that canoe - and it feels good.

Beautiful canoe, by the way, and very handy that your "model" had on the colors she did and that matching toenail polish, for this photo.

*****

Stephen, you are really catching some touching moments these days. Growing up swimming and being a child once myself, even though I don't know the children here...your photographs take me back. The wetness in that first one - and what looks like a life preserver strap hanging down...makes me feel the wet cloth as though it's on my skin. And then we have that little girl's look of pure wonder at the sparkler. Sparklers bring back summertime in my childhood, too.

Thank you both!

Thanks for the feedback – working more on composition.

However I'm chuckling to myself - both of the pictures you reference are of one of my two fraternal twin sons ... but my wife thinks that with his fair complexion and full red lips, he looks like a porcelain doll. So I can see and understand how in the low light you might mistake him for a girl.

Here are some daytime shots with GF1 and 20mm Panasonic …
