Sorry to hear that Ollie, it is a fine lens and maybe search ebay to see if you can a used copy.
Most of us who has this lens somehow do not want to part with it.

Good luck.

I did a search and came across a PL 14-150 M43 lens for $1299.us.
Still pretty expensive.

Back to the drawing board. I think I will wait and check out the new Olympus lenses due out in the spring.

Hi Bill, thanks for viewing and your kind words of encouragement. Never thought of that. Now that you mentioned it a great candidate for B&W. Problem with my mind set - stuck in colors. Jumped out of bed and here is the B&W version. I like it but not good at PPing B&W. Added a little contrast --- any tips that you can offer?

Thanks for the recommendation and wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

I see you've cropped the bottom a little - just one step now

- I'd play around with different formats etc., maybe - and have a look at the top section - try reducing it and see what you think

Hi Bill
Ok will play around with it tomorrow. Need to get my beauty sleep.
Odd, I only convert that shot to B&W and did not do any cropping. Will check that out as well.
Thank you

ric

I'm very shy about showing anyone my photos, but here is one. E-p1, 17mm pancake. Shot very quick from the hip.

Sorry it's so big - didn't intend it to be...
