Default Road Riting

I know - it is spelled "writing" - but that's my title.

There is lots of construction going on in our small town - updating to fiber optics plus some other services being upgraded at the same time. Every sidewalk and street is marked up with measurements and notations.

So I decided to walk around tonight and grab 9 shots with my E-PL1/Holga, to include in a composite image.

I like it!

What, no SI units? I figured at the least the service providers would use metric up there.

I know. Canada started integrating the metric sytem in 1970 I think. Most of us are adept (have no choice) at figuring out degrees in Celcius and driving speeds in Kilometers per hour and gas/milk/pop in Liters - - - but we're still using feet and inches to figure size and distance with a tape measure.
