Nic,

I hate you :-)

I ordered my E-M5 from Digital Camera Warehouse about a week before you ordered yours from JB and I'm still waiting. Over the last couple of evenings I've actually been shooting a bit around my suburb after sunset just as the street lights are coming on and those first couple of shots really appeal as a result. I love the colour and rendering of the light.

Sorry. It actually took 5 days longer than they estimated for mine to arrive! They had the camera in Melbourne, but it was the delivery company that was dragging the chain. After I picked the camera up I found a seat in the Queen St Mall and set the camera up so I could get the shots that I posted here. This is the first camera where I've really enjoyed shooting at night. Hopefully yours arrives soon. Was yours black or silver?

As before, with the 25mm:

No need to be sorry. It's great seeing some local shots taken with the E-M5. I rarely do night shots with the E-P3 because the noise ramps up fast and I'm preferring to shoot in colour but for some reason I've been playing around a bit the last couple of evenings during our rather brief twilight. Looking forward to doing a bit more of that once I get mine (black with the 12-50, may as well be able to use the weather sealing and I want to play a bit with the macro facility as well). I was actually hoping it might come early last week because I drove up to Stanthorpe on Thursday for a quick visit to a friend knowing I was going to spend some time shooting trees and rocks and it would have been nice being able to show off, as well as play with, a new toy.
Thanked by Luckypenguin.

Really enjoyed those last 2 shots Streetshooter.....In the first, I like how the shot captures both yourself and the women behind the glass smiling

...but mate, that second shot cracked me up....now that's text-book "in yo face" street photography.
