yes, indeed; people do not pay much attention to beggars there. i think
maybe because there simply too many of them. i didn't really enjoyed the
shooting there since i have to take most photos from the car - security
it seems!

I haven't posted anything in awhile due to a lovely four-day power outage. You have to love it when you talk to the guys from the power company and they tell you "We don't know if we can overcome this problem". Good times.

This is the view from the "street" in to the shop near my house. "Lijo" means "food". You can usually get some baked goods from a lady under the tarp.

This lady sells a variety of clothing from a ramshackle tin shop, part of the lineup that includes the Lijo lean-to above.
