Thanks everyone for looking and commenting on this thread. It was a great experience to meet up with Brady and be able to trade stories face to face rather than just on the forum. It's also good for sharing tips and techniques that are difficult to convey properly through written word. Highly recommended for anyone else to do something similar if you would like to meet up with some other Micro 4/3 users in your area. Don't be afraid to post a thread on the forum asking if there are any takers. In this case it was also good to try out some gear that neither of us had used before.

We weren't joined at the hip while we were shooting (Brady was flitting around far too quickly through the Mall for me to keep up!) so there's no need to be photographing exactly the same things. It has actually been interesting to have another photographer in the same vicinity, with a different lens and see the different results. It is also very interesting to watch another photographer work, something that I have not had much opportunity to do previously.

These are some of the other images taken on the day, some of which may have already been seen in some other image threads:

The cathedral that Brady mentioned in the first post (St John's on Ann St)

The Anzac War Memorial across from Central Station, also on Ann St

Some street art

An American Beauty moment

Plus a couple more street scenes

Our favourite billboard again

I'm sure that Brady must have a whole bunch more images as well.

Cheers,
Thanked by Iconindustries and Livnius.

Cheers,
Keep 'em coming!

Why can't we have Olympus billboards like that in England?

Nic made sure he had it back in his bag before I left. haha
I need to convert that 600 dollars into something useful in the very near future.

Oh dear, maybe that's why I often get lost.
