Talking Four's my lucky number

Shelby is visiting from Seattle so we can help her celebrate her 4th birthday. She loved the chair I decorated for her, and calls it her birthday chair.

She's very tolerant of her grandpaparazzi, and a good model. And she's agree to give up the Mariners to become a fellow Giants fan.

My little techno-geek.

My other lucky 4 is my 4th granddaughter, born today at 8:30AM. She weighs 7lbs 11oz, and her name is TBD. We'll leave for Newport Beach on Tuesday, and try to help out. Lots of pictures to follow.

Your black and white shots are great. They really grab the viewer's attention. And I'm saying that from the point of view of someone who usually breezes past kid pictures. Nice job.
Thanked by Uncle Frank.

The second one (1st B&W) is an absolute winner (they're all good).
She'd melt anyone's heart for sure, but maybe I'm biased, my daughter is turning 4 next month, and it's such a sweet age...

I enjoy the happy look on her face, what a gem. I find the pictures to have an element of 'calmness'. Must be a good combination of subject, processing and composition I reckon.
Thanked by Uncle Frank.

She's adorable - her expresssions in the first and third photos are great! Very nice chair you decorated for her.
Thanked by Uncle Frank.

A very astute observation. I'm lucky times four.

But you need a primary team, just in case they meet in the world series.
