Default Apple picking and a walk downtown

Went to the orchard with some friends today to pick some apples, then lunch and a little bit of walking around downtown Clinton, NJ. Naturally, the camera came along

Equipment for the day was the G5 with 75mm, PL 45mm, PL 25mm, and 7-14mm lenses. All photos PP with Lightroom, Silver Efex and HDR Efex.

As always, comments welcome (and appreciated). Thanks for looking!

Jay, I didn't count, but it looks like the PL45 was your workhorse on this trip, with the 75 a close second. I really need to dig out my 45; it was sidelined by the smaller and faster Oly 45.

Yeah it was almost 50/50 between the PL 45 and 75 with only one shot each from the 25 and 7-14 in the "keepers" for the day.

Part of that is because the PL 45mm is new to me (just got it used and will be comparing it side by side with the 60mm macro for a while) so it's still in the honeymoon period. That aside, I'm finding it to be a really pleasing & useful lens that's been overshadowed by its cheaper, faster competition.

I'm most likely going to keep the PL 45 and sell off the Oly 45. The PL 45 also seems to be capable of some great portraits AND has OIS + macro. For me the extra flexibility makes it more apt to be used, and of course I've got the 75mm for a fast portrait lens.
Thanked by crsnydertx.

You certainly demonstrated that the PL45 isn't a one-trick pony!
