Came across this little one on a stream while hiking. It's barely a foot high but I guess technically, it still counts as a waterfall. :P

Water in motion 3

Blackwater Falls in West Virginia (62 ft)

The brown is not mud but the actual water color - the large amount of tannins in the water make it look like tea.

G1 and the Oly 9-18 @ 9mm. Forgot my ND filter and had to shoot at f22

Thanked by Timm and zpierce.

Nice! When were you there? I was there on 16th October 2011, and here's my version. Shot with the 20mm.

Thanked by Narnian, Timm, noelh and 1 others.

I was there October 13th. I was the guy with the Micro 4/3 cameras ;)

Very nice shot yourself - more like I wanted to get but it was cloudy and I forgot my ND filters.

I messed around with a little HDR version.

Thank you :). I was there over the weekend for some fall colors but got none. Eventually, made it to Seneca rocks and got some fall foliage.
