I shared this before I believe, but I do not have many waterfalls yet with my m4/3 outfit.

OK, so it is only about a foot or so high - it is still falling water

I also tweaked it some with HDR to bring out the shadow detail detail and moss.



Forgot to add this is last fall in the Shenandoah National Park. There had been a drought and the water was low so most of the falls had little water but I found a few interesting small water flows.

Here's an HDR I did of Cascade Falls on the North Shore of Lake Superior in northern MN.

And here's the non HDR version. I really like the rock detail in the HDR version. I'm not a big user of HDR, but it's fun sometimes, and I think it really helped here.

Great picture Zach. I agree, that's a really good demonstration of where HDR can improve a picture.
