Default Out and About for a day around Cuba, New Mexico

Me and my hubby met up with some friends from Cuba, whom showed us around the area as we snapped many photos which I would like to share with you all. We took four bodys, the Sony A65 with a 75-300mm zoom, two E-pl1's and, one with the p14mm, the other with the PL25mm, and a Samsung st-76 point and shoot.

first up, the only three shots with the Sony that I will show.

This very interesting rock is called 'Bear Rock', can you see why?

This chimeney is built solid, as it is all that stands,

a abandoned cabin shot from afar.

all three shots from the Cuba mountains. E-pl1 shots coming next.

I was told that this is a terrible weed that will consume all living plants in its path and spread like fire.

another very interesting rock formation, this one is called 'Tea Cup Rock' by the locals, but I see the skull of a ape in it in the last picture, do you see what I see?

shot with the 14mm.

for a prospective on its size, I am in the frame while my hubby shoots with the PL25mm...

I like the ample grit and character on that old red truck. Thanks for sharing the images.

a few horses appeared out of nowhere..

14mm.

and a few more came, it became obvious they thought we were going to feed them.

and even more came and surrounded the truck, there was maybe a total of 15 - 17 horses, and they were getting angry so we hopped in the trokita and split the scene..
