So, I found some window light during a day on which it didn't stop raining all day! I did try with my kit lens to start with, but at f/4 minimum it didn't stand a chance. So, over to my trusty (only had it a few weeks and it's trusty already) Oly 50mm f/1.8 adapted lens which worked a treat.

I found an article which shows how to do glow in PP so thought I'd give it a try, what do you think?

I like 'em. Cute cats! But what do you mean by "glow?" I'm always interested in learning new techniques.

It's the effect from using a diffusing filter I think. It kind of adds a 'lit' blur, almost foggy quality. The article I was going by was here Luminous landscape. The first picture there is with an actual filter on the lens.
