Here's one of my "old guy" Ben. I had the 17/2.8 on my E-PM1 and was playing with the FL-300R, when Ben came into the room. Even with flash, f2.8 is just not quick enough to catch my cats in motion most of the time. This is a significant crop, but I decided not to crop further and try to clone out the bits of furniture & stuff on the left. I'd rather have the photo look like I meant to provide more context than to do a poor job of erasing that context. I'm in need of a faster, longer, fast focusing prime. But I'm having a difficult time choosing.

My cat was trying to get some shut-eye on the couch and I was actually attempting to sneak up with my E-P1 and Micro-Nikkor Macro lens to get an eye-ball close up.

Unsurprisingly the cat wasn't going to sit still and kept moving about.

I figured I'd try for a claw shot instead. Many a mouse/bird/rat thats fallen afoul of that over the years.
