Default What are you looking at?

Took my new lens out for a spin today and had a LOT of fun shooting. Found these little flowers STARING at me. Little tiny googly eyed flowers...

Super Takumar (12 of 19)

I also grabbed a few Poppy shots as well.

Super Takumar (9 of 19)

Super Takumar (8 of 19)

Super Takumar (10 of 19)

Nice work! It's always inspiring to me when people post nice images made with the E-PL1.

Are these taken with your new Takumar fast fifty?

Thanks! Yep sure did! I am LOVING that Takumar. I have a Panny 25mm 1.4 Leica coming sometime this week but... I don't know if I can honest pry the Takumar off my camera long enough to use the panny. I can see a Manual lens addiction coming on. Should I start the 12 step now?

What lens?
My new favorite is a super-tak 55 f1.8 that I paid eight dollars for.Super sharp and easy to focus on the new O-M5 I just got.No need for magification.

Yeah, once you get started with old glass it's easy to build up quite a collection very quickly. Especially if you start scouting yard sales and thrift stores where you can pick them up for sooo cheap.

The 25mm is a great complement to a legacy lens collection since you won't find fast old lenses in that "normal" focal length. The 25mm will basically give you what your Takumar afforded to its original owner who was shooting film -- it's the "nifty fifty" of the ecosystem.

Now if you'll excuse me I've got to go "make amends" to an old gentleman I shoved out of my way after I spotted some old cameras on a table at a garage sale last weekend.
