After cutting some flowers in the garden, this little lady popped out in the evening. I was in charge of escorting her outside. She was about the size of a quarter (which is a big spider up here in New England, but I understand is a baby spider in places like Australia).

edit: I suppose I should add: shot with EP1 with OM 50mm 2.0 macro, handheld with just the Island light in the kitchen. f/stop likely around 4.0, to balance DOF with shutter speed and ISO.

Looks like a wolf spider. Tastes like chicken (kidding).

Not a wolf spider ... huntsman?

Hobo or funnel grass spiders look kind of like that but are not to be found so far east.

Actually do taste more like shrimp than chicken - tarantulas anyway.
