Fantastic shot! Is it stacked?

I do not see the food either?
Thanked by uci2ci.

Thank you

No, no stacking here. I've never done that before. Im going to have to try it soon though!

This spider has been nesting near my house under a light post for a while now. It keeps getting bigger and bigger. It could probably eat a small bird in a few months

The food (or at least I think its food ) is that black blob near its mandibles....probably the gelatinous remains of another insect

Thanks for sharing this great shot! I wish my macros could come out like this.

Its under a lamp post. I also shined it with my cellphone from a distance...kind of getting two tones of light as you can noticed. Not ideal, but I had to make it work :/

Great shot, Sam!

I love the clarity around his small eyes... somehow makes him look bigger than real life (I hope), like he could eat a Volkswagen.
Thanked by uci2ci.

nice shot ... and looks really scary! :)

would have loved the front legs to be in sharp as well, though. other than that nitpick, it looks great.
