Hey thanks everyone for your thoughts. It's really encouraging.
We just ate the first melon off that melon vine today and it was literally mouth watering. Sorry for my ignorance but do they grow watermelons in the UK?
For Justified Sinner's question. I just had the lens about 19-20cm away from the ant. But it looks closer than that because the ant is really big. We have some wild looking creatures in Australia. Even though these ants are huge they don't bite ,but out west further they have what you call meat ants. They can really nock you clean for a bit if they decide to have some fun.
