My wife took these (I was using non-m4/3) with an adapted Konica Macro Hexanon 55mm/3.5.

Thanked by phigmov, addieleman and johnc.

Salt Ppoint Jan 2013 - Minus

A family outing to the woods ...

The hedgehogs and yellow foot chanterelles are back this year. Also found some pigs ears. No signs of matsutake ...
Thanked by eno789 and addieleman.

Growing just up the street. Astoundingly large and dense - the one in the hand is ~3 pounds and middling in size out of the bunch growing our of he stump.

'Jack-o-lantern'
Thanked by eno789 and addieleman.

Gotta say the claim for these to glow in the dark is dubious. I put some caps of various ages into my chemiluminesent imaging system (the next gen of this) and got exactly nothing for 60 minute exposure (real 60 minutes - none of that stacking cheating stuff).

Honey mushrooms however do glow.

Default Yikes!

Not for the faint of heart ... Dead Man's Foot perhaps the most disgusting looking edible ...

I don't know what these are but there are Elfin Saddle in the mix.

Thanked by addieleman and Gyles.
