Wow! My two winners are #1 and #3. The first one is spectacular in my opinion. (I know this is not a C & C thread, but I wonder if you had considered cropping down from the top to allow only the terracotta color to show at the top? You may well have tried this and rejected it.) I think that this is a truly wonderful photograph of this beauty. When I first saw this photo, it stopped me in my tracks. This one really makes me think of an painting by someone such as Andrew Wyeth or, perhaps even more so of one by his son Jamie Wyeth, and I mean this a a serious compliment.

#3. Lovely closeup. Anyone who has ever known horses well, knows how incredible their eyes are and how much they tell us. I think the depth of field and focus choices work wonderfully here.

These two I'm smitten with. Beautiful, Rawfa.

I don´t think I´ve ever received such high compliments. Thanks!
You´re the second person to suggest the crop on photo #1. I´ve actually thought about and I´m still messing with it in my mind. As I´m trying to figure out which to get framed I´ll wait a bit longer.

Due to general consensus here is the cropped version of the first photo :)

Thank you Rawfa - what do you think? I can see it working both ways...or even just leaving 1/2 the amount of the dark space at the top? You should see me in my digital darkroom...often I go back and forth and end up with my original.
