Poor Sadie! I can see she's deservedly pampered. Nice series. :)

My Cookie had ACL surgery in June, she not through therapy yet, hopefully she'll be 100% in a few more weeks and can run as before.

The Cook when she came home from surgery.

Good Luck with Sadie,

Silvers and Gary... best wishes to your pups as they heal. Hurts to see your dog in pain, doesn't it!

Thanks Don. Yep, the biggest issue for me was that Cook doesn't understand why she was dropped off at the Vet, why she's shaved and in pain and why the crate and two weeks of no more walks. As time passes and the length of our walks increases, she's mentally getting back to normal. I'll pass on your best wishes to The Cook.

Gary

Hey JK. Your pix are magnificent. You have totally captured your subjects and I find your pictures moving and amusing. I, for one, would love to see to see these published in book form. Bravo.

Default Still my model

Peggy is holding her own after, as I already posted, being diagnosed with an advanced nasal tumor. And she is still willing to be my model whenever I get a new piece of gear. I got a Leica screw mount Summicron 50mm f2 (mostly for my ancient film camera) as an early birthday gift. Lovely lens that I'll definitely use on the EM5. And a way lovelier canine friend. Looking into the kitchen, where any activity stimulates her curiousity.

Thanked by DHart, Christilou, Kameleo and 2 others.

Lol, I was just talking with my wife about that on Saturday.

Our biggest problem is that it's only been 5 days since her surgery and she's already acting like nothing happened. Even hopped up on Tramadol and Trazodone she's at her normal temperament and energy. While it's nice to see her like that, my wallet doesn't want a $3K surgery to fail.

Oy, and we've got instructions to keep her cooped up for another 23 days before we can even start PT.

I'm glad to hear The Cook is doing better, and improving. The things we do for these fur-balls, right?

A big ^5 for Peggy. Your last line made me laugh. Reminded me of my Shelby, a Wired Haired Fox Terrier. Whenever we started the BBQ, she went nuts. (Being a WHFT, she was born half nuts but the BBQ made her totally nuts with the anticipation of a BBQed treat.)
