Hi folks. Checking my blog stats I saw a link from this topic and just wanted to stop by and say "Hi!" and thanks to applemint for linking my blog. For what it's worth, I don't even agree with myself on some things on some days, so take what I write with a grain of salt, lol.
I won't participate here much, though I've been here doing research and it's a great group and the app is on my iPad. Basically, I'm so compulsive that if I really start to hang on a message board, I spend WAY WAY too much time on them and don't get things done! Those of you who can control yourselves have my utmost and head-scratching respect! :)
I recently did another blog post explaining my feelings about micro four thirds cameras and why I now carry one EVERYWHERE and leave the DSLR's at home. My big Nikon's are now for professional or the most demanding work.
I had some Sony NEX cams for awhile but finally fell in love with the Olympus implementation of micro four thirds; though I first felt the itch when I bought my youngest daughter a Panasonic G1 a few years ago. The G1 is still rocking and rolling and she actually uses it to make money on the side. The micro four thirds world is a wildly useful one.
Anyway, here's the blog post explaining to some of my "DSLR only" friends why I've defected to a great degree and trying to bring them up to speed:
BLOG.ENTROPICREMNANTS.COM: EVIL Intentions: MILC-ing The New Small Camera Technology
That's part one of at least two parts. I have a lot more to say on the issue...
See...once I start talking I can't stop, lol. Again, nice to meet you folks and keep up the good work. I'll build a signature to show what I'm using later.
