Yeah, the first 4-5 episodes if the wire read like a more our less typical cop show, so I can understand how some have a hard time connecting with it. I always tell people that they need to stick around until Omar shows up -if they're still not hooked at that point, then maybe its just not for them. Of course at that point I have to cut all ties with them.
