In my opinion, Paris Concert is his best (and really, really underappreciated).
Right now I'm listening to Miles Davis' Sketches of Spain. His rendition of Adagio from Concierto de Aranjuez is nothing special, but Solea is as good as it gets.

The Jello Shot Guy
A guy, a few seats away was looking at the stage when a bead necklace mis-throw "ringed" his head landing perfectly on his shoulders. He looked up, arms bent at the elbows palms up with this great smile on his face.
It was one great party.
I don't know if you've been to the Bowl,
but you are allowed to take elaborate picnic baskets/coolers to you seats. (The box seats actually have tables and often had food delivered from the bowl's restaurants.)
So everybody was sharing food and wine/beer/mixed drinks with everyone else. One giant kumbaya fest.
LA is a great melting pot of different cultures and ethnic groups ... as a former LA City Commissioner, I've spoken with representatives from different countries who came to LA to see how such diversity can manage to live together without daily and violent civil unrest.
At the bowl, music and LA culture brought together a cornucopia of people of all color from every corner of this globe, all dancing together ... sharing together ... laughing together. A magical time in a magical place.
Afterwards, the spell was broken with the parking and traffic and out went the kumbaya.

The Byrds "Eight Miles High".
Great tune for driving a British sports car through the twisties.
(Assuming the Lucas Electrics allow the radio to stay on long enough to finish the tune. Lucas Electrics, Prince of Darkness).

Right now I'm on a 'Tallest Man on Earth' vibe. Raw folk stuff, virtuoso guitar, and (yes, I know it's a cliche) Dylan-esque vocals.

Benny Carter - Songbook. 14 singers join Benny on alto sax to sing 15 songs composed by Benny, who is 88 at the time of this recording. Dianne Reeves, Joe Williams, Kenny Rankin, Shirley Horn and Diana Krall, among others, participate in this very nice album.
