You're making every astronomy-aware viewer cringe with these unnatural juxtapositions.

yeah, and as a one time high school physics teacher and long time stargazer, I, too, cringe whenever those sci-fi shows put several giant satellites/moons in an alien sky for visual effect, as if the tidal strength wouldn't rip the crust of the planet in two. But it was a fun project for masking practice.

I'm glad you realise that you can't do what you did http://www.mu-43.com/images/smilies/Generic/smile.gif

Thanks to all the participants in this challenge.
One of the reason I have chosen to make this challenge topic was because I wanted to check the acceptance of photo manipulation in the community.
My thinking is that part of being better photo creator is to have the ability to alter and make your photo interesting.

And now for the results

In the 3rd place I have selected digitallandfilm abstract work. I liked the color and i think that subject and treatment are great.

manhole

For the 2nd place I have chosen Red (Julius Meinl) winter scene. this is a cold looking photo and Red has reflected the chill in his treatment.

The first place goes to macalterego. This picture take our world and transfom it to another place. The color and the illusion are superb. Well done Jeffrey.

Oh boy! I'm thinkin', I'm thinkin'...

I'm honored my photo was selected for first place. Since joining this forum and moving into m43 equipment, I've never been more excited to expand my capture and composition skills, nor more optimistic about my long term enjoyment in the pursuit of photographic excellence.

The next 72 hour challenge and rules will be posted is a few hours. I'm in -0600GMT in case it's already late for some of you and you want to catch the 'theme' tomorrow.
Thanked by elavon.
