Timbuk2 is having a sale right now. I've been using their bags with domke inserts for years now. They are bullet proof and very weather resistant. Worth a look.

I saw this and it peaked my interest. Paired with this $20 Tenba insert and it's the perfect bag. It's got insulation and paired with the Tenba insert you'd have a lot of protection.

This is nice looking. I'm just not sure I want to go red white and blue, but it does look like a well made bag, and your insert idea seems very smart.

The more I think about this bag the more I am tempted. With the padding from the insulation and the insert it would provide great protection.

Timbuk2 is running this up to 60% off sale all week. So maybe something a little more discrete will come up. That is their ice chest model. I'm using a small black bag which holds my Apple iPad and Panasonic LX3. They really are well made. Also check eBay for great deals in these bags.

That bag is pretty nice though I agree somewhat over the top! We need to keep this thread running all week if they are running deals, perhaps something nice will pop up.
