This image is from the wrong season for the northern hemisphere right now. But I took it right after I got the GX1 last December, and it's still one of my favorites with that camera. (with the 20mm f/1.7)

Shot at the local Zoo with my GX1 + power zoom lens. Much higher keeper rate than with my Canon 350D and I am now thinking "why should I not take my camera" rather than "do I really need to take my camera"

Will hopefully be ordering a Pany 45-200mm soon.

Crops and minor exposure adjustments only.

Took delivery of my new GX1 last weekend and have finally had time to put it to some use. Close enough in function to the GF2 that I could pick it up and run with it but could probably use some more time tweaking button functionality, etc.

Hey there Beard, welcome to the site mate....love both of these 2 images, really great. I just love seeing every day objects captured like this and presented in ways that make them appear anything but ordinary. Nicely done.
Is that some Photoshop layer work I see ?
