For some time around July 8th/9th this thread actually was in another forum.
My guess is it was put there based on the 'Night Sky Photography' part of the original post.

Have a look in "Images to share -> Other genres". You will find this thread mentioned between July 9th and 11th:

"Moved: Help! G3 settings; what am I missing?
Farcanalman"

/ Hence, it was moved from here to there and back again.

Okay, I found it in the moderator log now (much easier to do back on my desktop computer than early on my phone).

This thread was originally posted in 'Other Genres' and moved quite appropriately by Luckypenguin to 'Panasonic Cameras' on July 10th. It was not moved twice, and it was not originally posted in 'Panasonic Cameras'.

my G3 setting has changed and i can't get it back to it's previous setting.
previously, when the shutter released button is pressed half, i would have
a beep and a green rectangle box when it is focused. plus i can touch the
screen to touch-to-focus on the area. but now it just magnify the focus
area.

how do i set it back to touch-to-focus? thanks.
