Default GX1 skies

Another day of mixed weather, sunshine, rain, thunder, lightning still managed to get a couple of images with the GX1+25mm combo and very happy with them both despite dodging rain!

Thanked by Mellow, snkenai, phrenic and 10 others.

Great stuff, thanks for posting them! Days like that make much more interesting photographs if you are up for braving the elements.

Thanks for the feedback, I have been conscious of not using the GX1 as often as I should so am currently making a concerted effort to use it more and when I do I am reminded of the increased quality over my since departed GF1 yet with a similar footprint and definately a similar feeling of satisfaction in use.
Thanked by danska and totohdyt.

Beautiful images, Ian! I'm fairly late to the party having just bought the GX1 (largely as an upgrade for my much-loved GF1). A great little camera, and I'm also looking forward to trying it with the 25mm

Second picture is beautiful, especially the colours.
Do you process the blue, or did the sky really look like that when you're shooting it ?

Hi Ross,

The GX1+25mm is a great combo and despite the 25 being bigger and heavier than the Pany 20mm, it is well worth the cost as IQ is superb.

Enjoy them.
Thanked by Loksi.

Yes! Those were so good I had to come back and look at them again after reading the other threads that interested me. You do manage to get the best out your gear, Ian.
