The GX1 makes for great stealth porn! What an awesome camera. I think my GF1 needs to transform into a GX1.

HaHa!,Yes, I have been going a little bonkers this year!Must update that list now.The G3 got sold, the E-P1 is just a paper weight.I did just acquire an x100 though! After fullfilling most of my lens lust,I'm trying to simplify what I have to choose from.I just have too much stuff to choose from now, so it is always, what lenses do I take, and switching in the field.I usually buy used stuff so I don't lose when it is sold and it is fun to try out new gear.
The OMD is a keeper though,for sure,and I love the x100.
I'm with you Bhupinder, regarding the Leica 25,a bit big and heavy, cancels out the marginal IQ advantage over the much smaller 20.Still playing with both though.

Thanks ! Indeed E-P1.net and this board are two AWESOME communities with none of the totally unecessary hostility of the other place. It is SO refreshing to be able to disagree respectfully and NOT get flamed. This had renewed my trust in humankind, lol...
Take care

Hello there
I'm not incognito at all, I just happen to have two different handles..
Here is a great place, really, there's little chance you'll see me on the other one again ;)

Love the stealthy look of the GX1. Nobody has a silver GX1?

Really like the GX1. It's a lot smaller than I thought it would be (in a good way) feels really well made and absolutely loves the PL25 and PL45. It's a great carry everywhere camera with terrific handling and I have no complaints about it. This has been my favorite compact style m43 camera by far (and I've had the E-P3 and E-PM1 as well).

FWIW I went with an Octopus strap instead of a Gordy and its working pretty well. The strap ais light but fits the little horizontal attach points a lot better than the lug mount Gordy. I'll get a picture of the camera and strap a bit later and post it.

Thanked by Livnius.

The Octopus looks like a great strap - is there a US source?
