Default GF1 and legacy 43 glass

The one thing that irritates me about my GF1 is not the lack of IBIS (until recently no camera had this), but its inability, compared to the Olympus mu-43 cameras, to focus the majority of the excellent four-thitds legacy glass. Is there any hope that this situation might improve in the future?

What is IBIS? All I can find is a large bird that resembles a stork.

Carlarm,
It is a widely know fact that the IBIS is a very steady bird. This is why Olympus has put the bird in the camera to help steady it.
Panny couldn't do it because Oly has the worlds supply of the IBIS reserved.
