i got to play with one at precison here in austin

OMG it was SO teeny n CUUUUUUUUUUUTE!
that lens is WAY smaller than i thought!

ive done the camerasize.com thing, and knew it was about the size of my ep3, but i swear it FELT smaller, but still felt good in my hand
i tried the gx1 while i was there... primarily to shut my buddy up who was saying i was an oly m43 snob. lol

didnt enjoy the grip on it.. the top curvey slope is too low feeling for how i was holding it
i promptly handed it back to the saleswoman

the evf hum was unnoticed.

im getting the silver body only with the mmf3.. but wow... that 12-50 sure is teency! i may end up selling my mmf3/12-60/70-300 and just go all native equivalents

i mainly do street photography, and extreme utter sharpness isnt as handy for me as useablity. speed wouldnt matter as much since i have primes, and i live at f8 or under f2.

ill decide once i get the kit and do some playing around

it felt great. the size, the weight, the general holding it. i loved it! thats not blind ******sm either, cause i sorta dislike the way the leica m9 feels in my hand(ducks from torches and pitchforks from RFF forums!)

the only one they had was the demo silver. the silver was very pretty... i wish they had the black also. id like to see that one in person. anyone in austin have a black one?? :D

i could never BUY the black tho, and that is 100% because i want to remove the skin and add a brown one, so it would be silver and brown. i just love that combo!

if i were going to just stick to how it comes form olympus, id be very tempted by the black(from what ive seen in pictures. plus i like the panda look with silver lenses)

btw, someone was on the phone with them hounding them with em5 shipping questions... was it someone here? :)

Where are good places to purchase new skins? Getting the Silver myself (well if it ever ships) and would be very interested in doing this as well.
