And his Blog.
Surprised that the rattling sound of the 20mm didn't give away the photographer :-)

Congratulations!

Yours is a great photo. It is in my eyes a greater shot than other famous 'captured moments' which turned out to be crafted setups which makes them as admirable in my eyes as clipping a frame from a movie with actors.

I am thinking in particular of a couple famous shots: "The Kiss" taken by Robert Doisneau's The Kiss .

For years this photo was touted as a 'impromptu moment' that captured the feeling of a city, blah, blah ..... It's enough to make you sick. For this 'impromptu moment', the photographer hired two actors and staged it.

Another staged 'captured moment'. Is the 'cheeky' photo of the 'Tennis girl'.

So hats off to you!

It is really a great photo. I'm reminded of a famous quote from Louis Pasteur: “Chance favors only the prepared mind.” because I know capturing a shot like that is more than just being in the right place at the right time.

While I'm sure you are ecstatic at all the attention being paid to your photography (and you should be!) the cynic in me wonders how much money CNN is making off your story. Hopefully they're sending you a cut.

What an awesome shot - the look on her face is priceless. What a gracious gesture to work so hard at finding the couple.

I'm pretty sure they aren't going to send me a penny. I've been on the front page for 2 days now, and I think it's the number 1 video now... jeeze.
Thanked by TheCreativeD00m.
